If you are a team player, someone who has a soaring level of motivation and ready to roll up their sleeves and dive into this position, this may be the opportunity you have been searching for please apply today!</p> <p>Duties:</p> <ul> <li>Tax Compliance - timely and accurate filing of federal, state, and local tax returns </li><li>Tax Planning and Strategy - develop and implement tax strategies </li><li>Tax Audits - coordinate and manage tax audits and prepare documentation </li><li>Financial Reporting - prepare and review tax related financial statements and along with the related financial statement 10-Q and 10-K disclosures ensure accurate tax provision calculations in accordance with accounting standards (ASC740) </li><li>Advisory Role - provide tax related advice to Senior Management </li><li>Research and Analysis - conduct research on complex tax issues, stay updated on tax law changes </li><li>Assists with budget process* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics: CPA preferred </li><li>5+ years of relevant tax experience </li><li>Accounting software knowledge - Smartsheet, OneSource is preferred, Microsoft Office Applications </li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to navigate complex tax issues </li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills - to convey tax related information to non-tax professionals </li><li>Interact effectively with other finance departments and team members </li><li>Customer Service experience both internal and external </li><li>Time management - ability to meet critical project deadlines, supporting team members with deadlines </li></ul>
