<p>Kforce's client, a well-established Real Estate developer in the greater Boston area, is seeking an Accounting Manager. This company offers a employee-centric culture and tight-knit Accounting team. This position is open due to an internal promotion. The Accounting Manager will gain exposure to all aspects of real estate accounting and work directly with the controller and CFO.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Oversee some Accounting Staff </li><li>Maintain accuracy of property rent rolls, financial statements/reports, budgets, and cash projections </li><li>Oversee bank reconciliations, financial analysis, and budgeting </li><li>Assist with HR duties </li><li>Ad hoc accounting and financial projects* BS/BA with 5-10 years of related experience </li><li>Should be confident preparing and presenting financials </li><li>Able to work independently and communicate effectively </li><li>Proficient in Microsoft Windows software programs </li><li>Yardi experience is a plus </li><li>Ability to work independently, have excellent communication skills, a strong attention to detail and be intellectually curious </li><li>Experience with Real Estate clients </li></ul> <p>Familiar with one of the following areas:</p> <ul> <li>Commercial real estate accounting </li><li>Construction accounting </li><li>Residential real estate accounting </li></ul>
