<p>Linde Advanced Material Technologies Inc.</p> <p>Mechanical Engineering Technologist</p> <p>Indianapolis, IN, United States | req26201 Flexible night shift (08:00pm - 08:00am), Monday to Friday</p> <p>What you will enjoy doing*</p> <ul> <li>You will work with a cooperative team to bring the best ideas or technology to solve recurring production issues in your area of assigned responsibility </li><li>You enjoy working with your hands to lead hands-on repairs, testing, and validation of mechanical systems and processes in the plant </li><li>Manage small to medium scale capital improvement projects by managing and overseeing safety, budgets, contractors and providing project status updates to plant management </li><li>Develop and maintain documentation for mechanical systems including but not limited to preventative maintenance work orders, spare parts, process and instrumentation diagrams, production dashboards, etc </li><li>You will enjoy working on the production floor with a large portion of your role focused as a hands-on engineering resource and mentor to the production team </li><li>You will oversee the Management of Change (MOC) process for all plant projects in your assigned areas </li><li>You will present production status updates, timelines, and discuss open or resolved issues on a weekly basis </li><li>You will analyze equipment data to develop a drive improvement with other engineers, technicians, and operators </li><li>You will assist and lead troubleshooting efforts as needed for various electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems </li></ul> <p>What makes you great</p> <ul> <li>Associate degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology with 3-5 years of related industrial experience required or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology in lieu of experience </li><li>It is preferred that you have experience with Allen Bradley operating systems (preferred) and basic knowledge or ladder logic troubleshooting and programming </li><li>You have previous experience managing capital expansion projects and proven ability to manage multiple tasks at one time </li><li>You should be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, 3D CAD (SolidWorks), and AutoCAD </li><li>This role is required to work night shift within the hours of 8pm-8am during standard weekdays </li></ul> <p>Why you will love working with us</p> <p>Linde Advanced Material Technologies, formerly Praxair Surface Technologies, is a company that revolutionizes industries through innovative materials and surface coatings.
