We work in a uniquely collaborative model across the firm and throughout all levels of the client organization, generating results that allow our clients to thrive.</p> <p>What You'll Do</p> <p>The Global Marketing Events Senior Specialist will primarily be responsible for managing a number workstreams to support BCG's flagship event programs, as part of the Global External Relations & Events (GER&E) team.</p> <p>The ideal candidate will have experience in supporting, developing and executing events for senior stakeholders and understand the complexities of working in a matrix organization, across teams and geographies to deliver a high-quality event experience for our participants.</p> <p>Specifically, the role will help coordinate workstreams to deliver a high-end event program. This individual may support the event lead to define the strategy and propose the overall approach including but not limited to the event narrative, delegation, target audience, invitations, visual identify and budget.</p> <p>The chosen candidate for this role will be detail-oriented, creative, strategic, and possess strong written and verbal communication skills and most importantly have a real passion for events.</p> <p>YOU'RE GOOD AT</p> <ul> <li>Project management as you'll be owning event workstreams and will be required to put a plan into place and then execute against it </li><li>Designing events that support marketing objectives ensuring that the format, audience experience and ROI are carefully considered </li><li>Cross-functional teaming with other marketing functions on the event management processes, including MarTech, branding and digital teams </li><li>Meticulous organization and coordination, with a high level of self-initiative and exceptional attention to detail </li><li>Relationship building and influencing key stakeholders, in partnership with leaders, to gain approvals on proposals and recommendations </li><li>Communicating effectively (written and verbal) to all levels of the firm in an accurate and in a service-orientated way </li><li>Driving work strategically with an ability to focus on the bigger picture and small details </li><li>Analytical and critical thinking, able to propose solutions based on stakeholder requirements </li><li>Working in a structured and process orientated way with a high degree of autonomy and able to self-motivate in ambiguous circumstances </li></ul> <p>What You'll Bring</p> <ul> <li>At least bachelor's degree with strong academic achievements required, ideally in marketing or business administration or other related subjects </li><li>3+ years experience in event curation and experience design in a global professional services or agency environment is essential </li><li>5+ years of professional experience </li><li>Experience and knowledge of project management principles, methodologies and tools </li><li>Ability and experience working on a global team across multiple time zones </li><li>Ability to interact effectively with a variety of audiences at all levels of seniority, across functions and geographies </li><li>Must have a positive and friendly manner, with a strong service orientation, high degree of flexibility, and the ability to work under pressure </li></ul> <p>Who You'll Work With</p> <p>A variety of teams across BCG, both inside and outside of the marketing function, including:</p> <ul> <li>Activation and Orchestration </li><li>Alliances </li><li>Executive Assistants </li><li>Global Marketing Leadership team </li><li>Local and Practice Area marketing teams </li><li>Marketing Technologies team Public Relations </li><li>Senior leaders (MDPs, PALs) </li><li>Social Media </li><li>Web </li></ul> <p>Boston Consulting Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
