<p>Nuvance Health is a network of convenient hospital and outpatient locations - Danbury Hospital, New Milford Hospital, Norwalk Hospital, and Sharon Hospital in Connecticut and Northern Dutchess Hospital, Putnam Hospital Center, and Vassar Brothers Medical Center in New York - plus multiple primary and specialty care physician practice locations including The Heart Center, a leading provider of cardiology care, and two urgent care offices. Non-acute care is offered through our affiliates including the Thompson House, for rehabilitation and skilled nursing services, and the Home Care organizations.</p> <p>Summary:</p> <p>Technical implementation of reporting and analytic tools across Nuvance Health. Set and establish data reporting standards, tools, and content aligned with the strategic needs of Nuvance Health Responsible for the transformation of data from internal and external sources to provide timely, meaningful, and actionable insight to clinical teams and leaders to drive organizational improvement. Collaboration with end-users throughout the organization to determine information and data needs and conceptualize, design, and develop data visualization solutions into clear communications for key stakeholders and decision makers.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Collaborate with technology and platform management partners to optimize data sourcing and processing rules to ensure appropriate data quality </li><li>Develop and maintain robust quality control processes to ensure data integrity </li><li>Extract, query, transform, visualize, and interpret data multiple platforms </li><li>Data modelling: Work with subject matter experts to define data requirements, source of the data, and format required </li><li>5roubleshoot production issues related to data flows within the enterprise </li><li>Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements optimizing data delivery and automate manual processes </li><li>Ensure relevant data is captured in source systems and made available for teams within Nuvance Health's business intelligence applications </li><li>Participate in continually improving processes/procedures which enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of Data Engineering services to analytic users </li><li>Aggregate and analyze various data sets to provide actionable insight </li><li>Coordinate multiple work efforts and complete deliverables within stated timelines </li></ul> <p>Requirements:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Required BS Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related discipline or equivalent experience</p> </li><li> <p>Master Degree preferred</p> </li><li> <p>3+ years relevant experience in data engineering.</p> </li><li> <p>2+ years working in healthcare</p> </li><li> <p>2+ years in data modeling, data governance, and or data architecture</p> </li><li> <p>Strong programming experience in SQL database</p> </li><li> <p>SSIS experience</p> </li><li> <p>Tableau experience/certification, preferred</p> </li><li> <p>Working knowledge of EMR systems including system-wide hospital or ambulatory information systems.</p> </li><li> <p>Applied knowledge of database management tools, data warehousing best practices</p> </li><li> <p>Proven experience in managing structured data such as application data bases, operational data stores, data marts and data warehouse</p> </li></ul> <p>Location: The Summit-100 Reserve Rd., Danbury, CT</p> <p>Work Type: Full-Time</p> <p>Standard Hours: 40.00</p> <p>Work Shift: M-F 8AM-4:30PM</p> <p>Department: Data Mgmt.
