The ideal candidates will also be a productive and proactive self-starter who is passionate about his/her duties and willing to put forth the extra effort to achieve excellence.</p> <p>ABOUT THE ROLE:</p> <p>The EMT will work at the speedway in various positions and locations. Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following.</p> <p>RESPONSIBILITIES:</p> <ul> <li>Lifts, carries, and transports injured or sick people from location or accident scene to medical facility on property. </li><li>Provide emergency medical treatment for injured or sick people </li><li>Administers first-aid treatment at sites of emergency or in medical facility </li><li>Ensures a safe and fun environment for all guests, staff, sponsors and partners </li><li>Works safely, following all established safety rules and regulations </li><li>Communicate effectively with co-workers, supervisors and guests </li><li>Ensures the safety of guests and employees </li><li>Patrols assigned areas as directed </li><li>Responds to emergencies as trained </li></ul> <p>MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:</p> <ul> <li>Must be 18 years of age </li><li>Must be able to work weekends, holidays and nights as needed </li><li>Must present an overall clean, neat appearance, and report to work in appropriate attire </li><li>Must possess a valid state issued driver's license </li><li>Must be able to speak, read and write English </li><li>Must be able to pass a background verification </li><li>Valid NREMT-B, Delaware EMT, and CPR/AED </li></ul>
