<p>Job Title: Medical Assistant</p> <p>Job Description</p> <p>We are seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our team in providing excellent patient care. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing vital sign documentation, preparing patients and rooms for exams and procedures, and maintaining a clean, organized, and safe environment. You will play a crucial role in organizing and performing patient care services that support the physician's practice.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Prepare patients for examination and procedures. </li><li>Relay instructions from the physician to the patient or authorized person. </li><li>Collect patient data in person and by phone, documenting patient concerns and care provided. </li><li>Accurately document medical information in the patient records. </li><li>Track and route test results to physician or nurse practitioner for review. </li><li>Communicate test results with patients when deemed appropriate by physician or nurse practitioner. </li><li>Facilitate patient care activities, including scheduling ancillary tests and reinforcing patient education. </li><li>Perform triage as appropriate and directed by physician or nurse practitioner. </li><li>Maintain adequate inventory of medical, office, and pharmaceutical supplies. </li><li>Perform basic computer skills using electronic health record systems for daily documentation and communication. </li><li>Process orders appropriately within the electronic medical records system. </li></ul> <p>Essential Skills</p> <ul> <li>Proficient in electronic medical records (EMR) systems. </li><li>Experience in medical assisting and patient care. </li><li>1+ years of experience as a Medical Assistant. </li></ul> <p>Additional Skills & Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Strong communication skills. </li><li>Ability to manage patient demographics and information accurately. </li></ul> <p>Work Environment</p> <p>The position is full-time, Monday through Friday, from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, within an internal medicine setting.
