Be part of an extraordinary life!</p> <p>Amavida is recruiting for Life Enrichment Manager. This role will be responsible for assisting the Life Enrichment Director in the oversight, creation and the encouragement of participation in programs, events and activities for Independent Living, Assisted Living and Memory Care. The Life Enrichment Manager is responsible for leading and organizing group activities, coordinating contracted employees for events and classes, assisting with assisted living trips and programming and will serve as a liaison to resident clubs and groups.</p> <p>Here are a few of the daily responsibilities of a Life Enrichment Coordinator:</p> <ul> <li>Assist the Director of Life Enrichment with managing, planning, scheduling, and coordinating all resident activities including special events following the Life Enrichment programs including the Heartfelt Connections Memory Care Program. </li><li>Promote a healthy community culture for all residents and employees. </li><li>Ensure regular communication with residents regarding activities, programs, events and transportation. Coordinate information for community newsletter. </li><li>Lead daily resident activities per our Community standards. </li><li>Assist with preparing and distributing monthly calendars according to the Community standards. </li><li>Plan and execute diverse and engaging programs to meet the needs of a diverse resident population including newly retired seniors seeking a carefree lifestyle, seniors in need of physical assistance, and seniors in varying stages of memory loss. </li><li>Supervise and support Transportation Drivers and Life Enrichment Coordinators. </li></ul> <p>Here are a few of the qualifications we need you to have:</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or GED required </li><li>Associate's degree preferred </li><li>Six (6) months experience working with seniors in activities/life enrichment preferred </li><li>Previous event/program planning preferred </li><li>Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills needed. </li><li>Computer skills are required with demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office. </li></ul> <p>Pay Range: $50,000 - $55,000 based on experience</p> <p>Work Schedule: Primarily Monday through Friday however availability needed for evenings, weekends and holiday programming.</p> <p>If you're an enthusiastic, compassionate, senior care professional who is passionate about hospitality and senior engagement- please apply, we'd love to get to know you!</p> <p>EEO Employer</p>
