<p>Job Summary-</p> <p>Productor Operator uses equipment to load, unload, and transport materials assisting with manufacturing, packaging, and other steps along a production line.</p> <p>This position is labor intensive, with a strong element of manual labor and a steady work pace required to support the smooth and continuous flow of production. Work is performed in a non-climate-controlled environment, with both internal and external activities.</p> <p>The current schedule is 12-hour shifts, with a rotating shift change from day to night shift every 2 weeks. One week has 3 scheduled days followed by the second week with 4 scheduled days. Overtime is scheduled as required.</p> <p>Starting pay at $21.00/hr. and progressing to over $25.00/hr. in the first year.</p> <p>Responsibilities-</p> <p>Must gain thorough knowledge of all operating and safety procedures. Tasks that may be required, but not limited to:</p> <ul> <li>Transport samples, raw materials, and supplies </li><li>Transport product by using a hand dolly and powder van (truck) </li><li>Maintain operating log, prepare labels as required, and accurately record information </li><li>Operate pneumatic and other required tools </li><li>Operate hoisting equipment </li><li>Participate in Hazmat/Fire Brigade </li><li>Drive tractor-trailer rig to move NC trailers, and other tasks as assigned </li><li>Bending, climbing stairs and ladders, reaching above shoulder level </li><li>Repetitive pushing & trucking of up to 210 pounds and lifting of up to 55 pounds </li><li>Finger, hand, and other physical dexterity required </li><li>Must be able to work 12-hour shifts and rotate from day shift to night shift every 14 days </li><li>Must be able to perform all job requirements in a non-climate-controlled environment </li><li>Weekend work/overtime is required </li></ul> <p>Qualifications-</p> <ul> <li>Must have a GED/High School Diploma or able to achieve passing scores on the Work Keys Skills Test administered by CareerSource Capital Region </li><li>Successful completion of a comprehensive background check required </li><li>BATFE clearance required </li><li>Must have a valid State Driver License </li><li>Must be dependable; have an acceptable work record including attendance </li><li>Must have the physical dexterity to operate equipment & instrumentation </li><li>Must have ability to communicate, read & write </li><li>Must have the ability to learn/understand oral & written instruction </li><li>Must be able to pass task certifications </li><li>Must have a strong desire to work & have reliable transportation </li></ul>
