Our global sales and service network provides our customers with a local resource for a wide variety of quality material handling equipment, fleet management solutions, warehouse products and support services to meet their needs anytime, anywhere.</p> <p>Work schedule is 6am - 4:20pm, Monday through Thursday.</p> <p>Primary Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Assist Supervisor with daily operation of assigned work area. </li><li>Organize and assign work according to the production schedule. </li><li>Work with Production Manager and Supervisor on planning and production issues for the department. </li><li>Coordinate and assist in the training of current and new department employees. </li><li>Set up and adjust all lathes as required for lathe operators. </li><li>Operate all lathes in the lathe department as needed for production. </li><li>Improve cutting tool performance, repeatability and insert usage by working with Operators, Process Technicians, the Manufacturing Engineering Department and outside vendors. </li><li>Change tooling as needed. </li><li>Help solve machining problems related to production. </li><li>Inspect parts per print specifications. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or GED required. </li><li>Previous experience in machining required. Previous leadership experience preferred. </li><li>Ability to read blueprints and understand basic math (including fractions and decimals). </li><li>Knowledge of CNC programming and ability to solve problems related to all CNC machines in the department. Ability to troubleshoot. </li><li>Good interpersonal skills and good communication skills. Ability to work with others in a positive manner. </li></ul> <p>Work Authorization:</p> <p>Crown will only employ those who are legally authorized to work in the United States.
