<p>$15,000 Sign on Bonus for external candidates only with a 2 year commitment to the organization</p> <p>ProMedica Toledo Hospital is one of the largest acute-care facilities in the region. Our 794-bed hospital is staffed by more than 4,800 professional healthcare employees who serve a 27-county area throughout northwest Ohio and southeast Michigan. We also have the area's largest board-certified medical staff, which is made up of more than 1,000 primary care and specialty physicians. Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work in a fast paced environment are a must. In addition, for 15 consecutive years, residents of Greater Toledo have named us the Consumer Choice Award winner in our market. In fact, we're the only hospital in northwest Ohio to receive this honor.</p> <p>POSITION SUMMARY</p> <p>Under the direction of a radiologist, the CT Technologist performs complex professional procedures for the diagnosis and treatment of patients. Obtains high quality scans, which are interpreted by a radiologist in the evaluation of disease or abnormality. Assists radiologists or other staff physicians in the performance of diagnostic CT procedures whenever required.</p> <p>Job Requirements</p> <p>Education</p> <ul> <li>Must have completed formal radiology technology training at an AMA approved school. </li></ul> <p>Skills</p> <ul> <li>Must be able to cope with the stressful situations and handle deadlines in a demanding, fast paced medical environment. </li><li>Must be able to understand directions, communicate and respond to inquiries; requires effective interpersonal skills. </li><li>Must be competent in the use of facility communication systems and equipment (e.g. EMR/PACS and fax machines). </li><li>Must be able to input and retrieve information from radiology or other medical equipment and computerized systems. </li></ul> <p>License</p> <ul> <li>Must have met ARRT registry requirements and be CT registered. </li><li>If CT registry eligible, must pass registry within one year of accepting the position; if performing in more than one modality and registry eligible, must pass registry within one year of accepting additional responsibilities (see addendum).
