<p>Job Title: Cell & Gene Therapy Associate</p> <p>Job Description</p> <p>We are seeking a dedicated Cell & Gene Therapy Associate to join our team, where you will play a crucial role in supporting clean room operations and contributing to cellular manufacturing processes. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals eager to gain valuable experience and grow within the field.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Assist in clean room qualification by helping to burden clean rooms for testing. </li><li>Run supplies and materials as needed for clean room operation and processing. </li><li>Perform aseptic gowning to enter clean rooms and assist with qualification. </li><li>Work within manufacturing to help process cells and samples. </li><li>Process cultures, cryopreserve, and manipulate cell products using aseptic techniques. </li><li>Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). </li><li>Participate in cellular facility work and clinical trial support. </li><li>Perform processing and testing to produce and assess safe and efficacious products. </li><li>Prepare stem cells, conduct cell/tissue culture, and manage batch records, cell expansions, volume reductions, depletions, and enrichments. </li></ul> <p>Essential Skills</p> <ul> <li>Experience with aseptic techniques and clean room operations. </li><li>Knowledge of GMP practices and SOP adherence. </li><li>Previous experience working in a biology lab, either academic or industry. </li><li>Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and effectively communicate within a team. </li></ul> <p>Additional Skills & Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Biology or a related scientific field is preferred. </li><li>Experience with cellular manufacturing and clinical trial support is advantageous. </li></ul> <p>Work Environment</p> <p>The position involves working in clinical manufacturing labs within a clean room environment. You will be part of a large team of operators and report to Operations Managers. Initial training is provided for 2-3 months with shifts from Monday to Friday, 8 am to 4 pm. Flexibility is required as shifts may vary, including working on weekends and potentially switching between first and second shifts, with the latest ending at 2:30 am. The role offers significant training opportunities and potential for growth within the first year.</p> <p>Job Type & Location</p> <p>This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Allendale, NJ.</p> <p>Pay and Benefits</p> <p>The pay range for this position is $29.78 - $29.78/hr.</p> <p>Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
