We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Quality Assurance Manager to be at the heart of delivering on our promise of safe, healthy, and delicious dairy every single day. This pivotal role ensures that every drop of milk meets the highest standards of quality and safety by adhering to our commitment to excellence.</p> <p>As our Quality Assurance Manager, you'll lead a dedicated team of quality assurance technicians and play a vital role in our daily operations. You will be instrumental in upholding and enhancing our rigorous quality and food safety standards. We are committed to lowering our environmental impact and meeting our sustainability targets, by providing kids and adults with healthy, nutritious, and delicious products that are made with care for animals, people, and the planet.</p> <p>Salary Range: $105,000 - $125,000 DOE</p> <p>A Day in the Life</p> <ul> <li>Establish, implement, and direct quality control, quality assurance, and food safety efforts to ensure conformance to standards. </li><li>Work closely as an integral partner with all operations departments to develop and maintain a culture of quality, food safety, and continuous improvement. </li><li>Implement and manage the site's SQF Food Safety and Quality Plan. </li><li>Leading and mentoring a dedicated team of QA professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence. </li><li>Provide timely results and data analysis on a variety of quality and safety metrics. </li><li>Perform food safety and sanitation audits to ensure compliance with company programs, customer expectations, as well as state and federal regulations. </li><li>Maintain an accredited Appendix N testing laboratory </li><li>Laboratory testing on raw materials, packaging, WIP, and finished products. </li><li>Calibrate and operate FTIR milk analyzer equipment. </li><li>Communicate with Clover dairy producers on milk quality topics. </li><li>Provide technical support to vendors, customers, and various company departments as needed. </li></ul> <p>What You Bring to the Team</p> <ul> <li>Demonstrated success in leading and managing people in a team environment </li><li>Demonstrated responsibility for food safety and quality. </li><li>Strong analytical and problem solving abilities. </li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including oral and written communication skills. </li><li>Knowledge of food microbiology, chemistry, dairy standards and CIP sanitation. </li><li>Working knowledge of HACCP and GFSI compliant programs </li><li>Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office suite, Google suite, ERP). </li><li>Perform moderate physical labor on the job to include walking, climbing steps and ladders, lifting 50lbs, pushing and pulling 200lbs. </li><li>Must be shift flexible - company is operational 24/7 </li></ul> <p>Education</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree (BS) in Food Science, Microbiology, or related field and 3 or more years of quality assurance experience in a food processing environment - OR - an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job as defined above.
