<p>Segway tour guides will provide guests with an intimate mobility assisted tour exploring the scenic beauty of Oglebay, off-road throughout the amazing landscape and beautiful trail systems of the park. Providing a fun and safe atmosphere for all involved.</p> <p>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.</p> <ul> <li>Confirm online payment before hosting tour </li><li>Organize, sanitize, and maintain Segways and safety gear on a daily basis </li><li>Inspect Segways prior to use to ensure a quality experience for every guest </li><li>Keep all paperwork and receipts for payment in order for daily tours </li><li>Set up and explain ground training school for the tour along with Segway video </li><li>Tear down ground training school at the end of the day </li><li>Give verbal instruction to participants in a positive, friendly, and informative manner </li><li>Ensure all participants follow safety instructions during the tour </li><li>Possess good oral communication and a fun, outgoing personality </li><li>Adhere to Wheeling Park Commission's safety rules and policy; refer any and all safety concerns to department manager, safety committee or human resources </li><li>Interact with the public with a cheerful and positive attitude, solve guest problems and complaints in a proper manner, and maintain harmonious working relationships with fellow employees </li></ul> <p>EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE</p> <p>High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.</p>
