From your first day, you will be immersed in DHG's safety culture, receive safety orientation, site-specific training, and more growth opportunities.</p> <p>Principal Duties and Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Provide leadership and coordination for all on-site construction activities, serving as the primary field contact for the project team. </li><li>Schedule and direct daily construction activities to ensure timely completion of work. </li><li>Ensure projects are constructed in accordance with contractual documents, specifications, and quality standards. Understand scope and identify changes. </li><li>Monitor, identify, and enforce safety and environmental standards. </li><li>Facilitate weekly progress meetings with the design team, trade partners, and internal stakeholders. </li><li>Maintain and distribute jobsite documentation (Daily Reports, JSA's, Inspections, Etc.) </li><li>Managing self performed activities to ensure that work is being performed within the established project budget, production, and schedule. </li><li>Coordinate required inspections with local jurisdictions and ensure compliance with applicable codes and regulations. </li><li>Oversee punch list development, completion, and project closeout activities. </li><li>Maintain a safe, clean, and organized jobsite at all times. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications / Skills and Knowledge Requirements</p> <ul> <li>OSHA 30 and CPR Certifications required. </li><li>Minimum 5 years of progressive experience as an Assistant Superintendent or Project Superintendent with a mid- to large-size commercial general contractor. </li><li>Minimum 5-8 years of experience in the construction industry. </li><li>Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred. </li><li>Strong computer skills, including construction management software, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office Suite. </li><li>Extensive knowledge of construction processes, materials, and methods. </li><li>Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate diverse teams. </li><li>High level of professionalism, discretion, and interpersonal skill to handle sensitive and confidential situations. </li><li>Strong analytical, organizational, and multi-tasking abilities with a proactive approach to problem-solving. </li><li>Physical ability to navigate job sites and perform various tasks. </li></ul> <p>Compensation and Benefits:</p> <p>Salary will be dependent on experience.
