<p>Developmental Pathways (DP) is seeking a Purchasing Coordinator in our Program Quality Department. This role will serve as the subject matter expert for applicable programs and services and serve as the resource/point of contact for complex cases. They will provide support and guidance regarding services provided through the Organized Health Care Delivery System (OHCDS), such as Adaptive Therapeutic Recreation Equipment, Specialized Medical Supplies, and Equipment. The Purchasing Coordinator will provide support guidance and coordination with vendors, contractors, and State partners for home and vehicle modification projects. To learn more about our commitment to inclusion and diversity, visit our website: https://www.dpcolo.org/about-us/inclusion-and-diversity/</p> <p>Requirements</p> <ul> <li> <p>A Bachelor's Degree; or</p> </li><li> <p>Five (5) years of experience in the field of Long-Term Services and Supports (LTSS), which includes Developmental Disabilities; or</p> </li><li> <p>Some combination of education and relevant experience appropriate to the requirements of the position</p> </li><li> <p>Personal vehicle in good operating condition for use during work as appropriate</p> </li><li> <p>Valid Colorado motor vehicle license and proof of motor vehicle insurance</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to meet our driving requirements - no suspensions/ no more than two tickets in the past three years</p> </li></ul> <p>Upon request, qualifying need, and approval, driving requirements may be waived in lieu of reliable transportation.</p> <p>Preferred</p> <ul> <li>One (1) year of experience in developmental disabilities/long-term services and supports </li></ul> <p>Additional Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li> <p>Complete proper documentation, state-level rule/regulation compliance, and other requirements for the fulfillment of purchasing requests/projects</p> </li><li> <p>Provide care coordination services and interventions by referring, educating, negotiating, and mediating with the individual and external providers/agencies</p> </li><li> <p>Complete accurate case documentation in appropriate tracking and databases; prioritize workload and meets all required timelines</p> </li><li> <p>Schedule, facilitate, document, and complete follow up for all required meetings; disseminate updates and obstacles to the necessary parties</p> </li><li> <p>Ensure the accuracy and timely entry and distribution of required documentation to all necessary parties, including, but not limited to providers, individuals, and family members</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain knowledge of state/ federal regulations, policies and procedures regarding long-term services and supports, Medicaid waiver and state funded programs and other community resources</p> </li><li> <p>Provide oversight and coaching to staff and leaders alike regarding technical aspects of supports for people in services, ensuring positive outcomes for the Department and people in services</p> </li></ul> <p>Started in 1964, Developmental Pathways (DP) is a nonprofit agency serving more than 15,000 individuals with disabilities and their families in Arapahoe, Douglas, and Elbert counties.
