This individual will be responsible for completing various general labor tasks, and operating equipment, as needed, on the base and grading crews.</p> <p>The successful candidate for this position will be competent and skilled at completing various general and manual labor tasks around the jobsite - both in grading, base stone, and utility work. Familiarity and experience working around various pieces of heavy equipment is preferred, but not required. The successful candidate will also have an uncompromising focus on safety excellence.</p> <ul> <li>Complete various manual labor tasks around the job site - including work with shovels, tamps, and various other hand tools. </li><li>Provide direction to and take tickets from trucks and suppliers on the job site. </li><li>Operate some heavy equipment - such as a skid steer, backhoe, compacting roller, haul truck, or dozer - as needed. </li><li>Perform daily pre-and post- inspections with appropriate documentation in compliance with company policies.
