<p>Position Summary:</p> <p>The role will be based out of Nashville, Tn or Middle, Tn.</p> <p>Please note that the HR Manager will work mostly <em>Remote</em> to support several facilities.</p> <p>The HR Manager is directly responsible for the overall administration and coordination of the human resource function for the assigned facility(s). This role will ensure compliance with state/federal regulations and (The Joint Commission) TJC standards, employee relations, talent acquisition and staff development, risk management, and strategic partnership with facility and corporate leadership.</p> <p>Primary Duties and Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Implements and manages corporate policies; identifies need, reviews and designs, and implements facility policies as needed. </li><li>Acts as a resource to employees and facility management for policies, benefit programs, employment-related procedures, and strategic planning. </li><li>Actively manages talent acquisition process; manages requisitions, recruits for new and vacant positions, supports management team in reviewing and interviewing candidates </li><li>Manages pre-employment process and ensures compliance with company, state, federal, and TJC requirements in hiring practices. </li><li>Supports new employee orientation and onboarding of all new employees, including scheduling new hires for orientation and management staff for presentations as appropriate. </li><li>Ensures compliance with company, state, and federal employment laws; actively monitors changed or updated regulations and implements revised practices as needed. </li><li>Navigates employee issues and concerns, including but not limited to questions, complaints, performance management, corrective action, investigations, and terminations. </li><li>Maintains employee personnel files and provider files in compliance with applicable regulations and company standards; keeps employee records up to date in HRIS and IT systems by processing employee status changes in a timely fashion. </li><li>Maintains training records in LMS; ensures that all employees are compliant with specific training plan. </li><li>Monitors and tracks compliance with licensing and certification requirements for all licensed/certified staff. </li><li>Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities</p> <ul> <li>Strong knowledge of federal and state employment regulations; ability to analyze regulations and apply to organization. </li><li>Knowledge of TJC standards and ability to translate to facility processes. </li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills required. </li><li>Ability to demonstrate critical thinking, problem-solving, and organizational time management. </li><li>Ability to work both independently and collaboratively. </li><li>Knowledge of computer applications, including MS Office 365 required. </li><li>Knowledge of office administration, project management, and employment regulation concepts required. </li><li>Available for alternate, evening and weekend schedules and shifts may be required to meet client needs, state and regulatory agency requirements and business necessity. </li></ul> <p>Job Qualifications and Requirements</p> <p>Education:</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or equivalent, required </li><li>Bachelor's or some college or technical school course work, preferably in Human Resources, preferred. </li><li>Certification from HRCI or SHRM preferred. </li></ul> <p>Experience:</p> <ul> <li>5+ years of human resources experience required, with some HR management experience preferred. </li><li>Experience working in healthcare or other state regulated/accredited industry preferred. </li></ul> <p>Applicable State Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Must meet pre-employment guidelines and maintain all applicable state and job-related guidelines for background screening, fingerprinting, drug testing, and health screening (if applicable) </li></ul>
