<p>Work Flexibility: Onsite</p> <p>Stryker is seeking a Staff Embedded Firmware Test Lead to create verification plans and test methods to support testing various life saving devices. This role will lead a team of engineers to ensure testing meets design requirements.</p> <p>What You Will Do</p> <ul> <li>Lead the Test development of software components in alignment with requirements and architecture defined. </li><li>Take a hands-on approach while writing Test Scripts and Debugging Test Failures. </li><li>Provide Test Development Schedules, work estimates, Sprint Planning and drive Test Development process to completion on any given product. </li><li>Apply and mentor others on advanced engineering theories, principles, and concepts. </li><li>Improve Automation frameworks. </li><li>Conduct technology exploration in SW Testing. </li><li>Facilitate Defect/Bug Resolution collaboratively along side Quality Department and Design Engineers. </li><li>Work cooperatively with R&D, Quality, Manufacturing, Regulatory, Clinical, Marketing and Project Management to ensure project success as a leader on the team. </li></ul> <p>What You Need (Required Qualifications)</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering/ Computer Science or related discipline & 4+ years of work experience. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications (Strongly desired)</p> <p>Technical Skills:</p> <ul> <li>Strong programming skills in Python and C/C++. </li></ul> <p>Design and Development Skills:</p> <ul> <li>Experience with CAN, I2C, Serial, SMBUS Protocols. </li><li>Knowledge in integration and deployment processes </li></ul> <p>Software Process Skills:</p> <ul> <li>Software Development Life Cycle processes. </li><li>Knowledge in creating estimates for Test Development. </li><li>Knowledge from using Application Lifecycle Management /Traceability tools. </li><li>Knowledge of regulatory and compliance standards applied to the SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle). </li></ul> <p>Travel Percentage: None</p> <p>Stryker Corporation is an equal opportunity employer.
