A commitment to the organization's shared values of Respect, Enthusiasm, Caring, Integrity, Teamwork, and Expertise is apparent in everyday actions, communication, and decision making process, and the Team Member actively contributes to creating a positive working environment for all Team Members.</p> <p>Position Summary:</p> <p>Responsible for the management of Retail Center, providing sales and service of all retail bank products. Coaches Team to meet business development goals. Develops new business and expands existing customer relationships. Originates consumer loans.</p> <p>Primary Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Manages, administers, and sells retail services including new accounts, account relationship servicing and teller operations. </li><li>Ensures staff is knowledgeable of retail products and services and proficient in sales techniques to effectively identify, sell and deliver financial services to the customer. </li><li>Resolves unusual or difficult customer problems, either directly or through cooperation with the appropriate area. </li><li>Manages day-to-day operations of retail staff to achieve established goals. </li><li>Oversees the new account, teller and safe deposit box areas to ensure compliance with auditing procedures, policies and banking regulations. </li><li>Maintains prescribed security controls to protect the bank against unnecessary risk and exposure and criminal fraudulent operations. </li><li>Monitors and reviews Retail Center activity reports and follows guidelines set forth to meet profitability and productivity goals. </li><li>Conducts regular staff meetings to instruct Team Members and align branch goals with goals of the organization. </li><li>Makes recommendations regarding selection of new Retail Team Members, salary increases, promotions, disciplinary actions and terminations. </li><li>Gives ongoing feedback and conducts effective performance appraisals. </li><li>Optimizes customer contacts to cross sell bank products and services. </li><li>Refers customers to appropriate person or department for services outside area of responsibility. </li><li>Develops new business and expands existing relationships. </li><li>Participates in civic and community activities to generate visibility and contact for the bank. </li><li>Proactively makes contact with customers and prospective customers to promote new business opportunities. </li><li>Originates consumer loans in compliance with bank policies, procedures and regulations. </li><li>Completes task necessary to open and close the branch. </li><li>Completes Bankers Edge training on time and with passing score. </li><li>May be required to act in capacity of Teller, manage cash vault activity, service and reconcile ATM, oversees building and ground maintenance, perform the duties of Security Officer for the Retail Center and/or act in the capacity of Pinnacle Plus Liaison. </li><li>Ensures compliance with all Bank policies and procedures and all applicable state and federal banking laws, rules and regulations including Bank Secrecy Act and Anti Money Laundering to assist management in monitoring for suspicious activity, money laundering, or other illegal customer activity. </li></ul> <p>Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job. Responds promptly to needs and request.</p> <p>Technical: Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel. And PC skills. Advanced knowledge of Jack Henry, Deposit Pro, and Laser Pro Software.</p> <p>Position Performance Standards:</p> <p>Meets annual sales goals.</p> <p>Set goals and remove barriers for Team Members through training and coaching sessions.</p> <p>Ensure Team Members are performing at meets expectations or above, or performance management efforts are in place.</p> <p>Performance Weightings:</p> <p>30% Competencies</p> <p>70% Position Performance Standards and Personal Goals</p> <p>Qualifications:</p> <p>To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and a minimum three (3) years of retail banking experience required. One (1) year demonstrated success in a leadership position preferred.</p> <p>Physical Demands and Work Environment:</p> <p>This job operates in a clerical office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, copy machines, filing cabinets and fax machines. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by a Team Member to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
