<p>Summary Administratively responsible for all aspects of operating#a pediatric practice of#Children#s of Alabama.# Responsible for daily operations of the#practice. Responsibilities Manage daily operations of practice in accordance with all acceptable Children#s Hospital System and regulatory standards including the development of policies and procedures, scheduling of resources, managing patient flow, and supervising communication mechanisms #Ensure satisfaction among customers (patients, parents, and referring physicians) by monitoring satisfaction and seeking to continuously improve operations to meet their needs and expectations #Manage financial resources of the practice and facilitate the collection of data necessary for the billing and collection of revenues. #Maintain and order supplies for all office equipment.# Order all office supplies and supervise ordering of medical supplies. #Maintain checks and balances on daily charge batches, co-pay deposits and control logs. #Conduct performance, salary reviews for office staff.# Instrumental in the hiring process and coordination with Children#s of Alabama Human Resources Department.# Liaison for employees and Human Resources as needed. #Prepare time cards weekly and calculate all employees time.# Submit to Children#s of Alabama payroll department biweekly on a timely basis.# Edit all employees as needed in the automated time system software on a continuing and timely basis. #Maintain employee records and files on all employees.# Communicate with Children#s of Alabama Human Resources routinely regarding all aspects of employee issues #Prepare accounts payable and check requisitions on a timely basis #Maintain current files on all physicians relative to hospital privileges, HMO, PPO applications and recredentialing.# Maintain current certificates, i.e., State License, State DEA, etc. to utilize for renewal processing. #Supervise all aspects of the practice#s business office functions and employees.# Conduct regular staff meetings with front office employees #Coordinate meetings and other activities for the practice physicians and perform any other duties as requested when needed Education and Experience B.S. or B.A. degree in business administration or similar field required. #3 years of management experience in a medical practice setting;# additional experience may substitute for required education on a year-for-year basis. #Experience in pediatrics, primary care, or specialty services appropriate for the position preferred. # #</p> <p>Summary</p> <p>Administratively responsible for all aspects of operating a pediatric practice of Children's of Alabama.
