The Trade Support unit is responsible for the strict control of trades booked, liaising with internal departments, and escalating to senior management where appropriate. You will work closely with trading, sales, senior management, technology, operations, audit, and compliance in the performance of your assigned duties.</p> <p>Job Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Supply operational support for Commercial Backed, Mortgage Backed, Collateralized Mortgage Obligations, and Project Loan desks </li><li>Oversee products including Commercial Backed Securities, Mortgage-Backed Securities, To Be Announced forward settling trades, Collateralized Mortgage Obligations, Project Loans, Interest Rate Swaps and US Treasuries </li><li>Working directly with the traders to understand each deal to ensure seamless trade entry and flow to subsequent back-office systems </li><li>Conduct trade booking and enrichment for new issue bond underwritings </li><li>Reconcile trades between front and backend trading systems </li><li>Comprehend system flow and front to back operations of trade processing including settlements, profit and loss, and confirms </li><li>Comprehend trade reporting rules related to regulatory bodies including the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (TRACE Reporting) </li></ul> <p>Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science degree required </li><li>Computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and Access </li><li>Able to identify and resolve issues with minimum supervision </li><li>Self-motivated with good interpersonal skills </li><li>Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines </li><li>Self-starting team player who is creative and reliable </li><li>Strong time management: organization skills and prioritization of tasks, setting own deadlines and working to defined targets </li></ul> <p>Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:</p> <ul> <li>Extremely detail oriented and controls focused </li><li>Analytical and quantitative aptitude </li><li>Adaptability to learn new tasks & demonstrate willingness to understand the detail of a process </li><li>Strong time management: organization skills and prioritization of tasks, setting own deadlines and working to defined targets </li></ul> <p>Work schedule</p> <p>This role requires going into the office five days a week</p> <p>This position is not eligible for H1B or Sponsorship</p>
