<p>Job Summary</p> <p>The Anesthesia Technician is a member of the Anesthesia staff who has knowledge of hospital ethics and policies as they pertain to the job. The Anesthesia Technician functions in an assistant role to the Anesthesiologist and Nurse Anesthetists (CRNA's), and complies with safety and other regulations in the interest of patient care. He/she follows Standard Precautions at all times.</p> <p>Experience</p> <ul> <li>Familiarity with anesthesia supplies,terminology and equipment preferred. Minimum of 6 months Operating Room, patient care or Central Sterilization experience. Excellent organizational ability and familiarity with inventory and supply ordering processes important </li></ul> <p>Education</p> <ul> <li>High School diploma or equivalent required.
