<p>Apply</p> <p>Job Type</p> <p>Full-time</p> <p>Description</p> <p>RETTEW is seeking an experienced Environmental Engineer to fill an open Engineer 1 position to support our growing Municipal Team with environmental design for multi-disciplined water and wastewater infrastructure projects. Newly graduated professionals encouraged to apply.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Public and private sector environmental engineering design for drinking water and wastewater infrastructure and treatment projects. </li><li>Work includes basic to moderate complexity planning, design, and permitting for municipal clients. </li><li>Perform basic design tasks including computations and analysis. </li><li>Grant applications, plans, and funding research </li><li>Prepare portions of plans, specifications, and other project documents; assists with preparation of other engineering deliverables. </li><li>Perform research and field investigations, collects data, and gathers information or documents. </li><li>Consult project team about regulations impacting projects; performs regulation research as needed. </li><li>Ability to effectively present projects to clients and regulatory authorities. </li><li>Client interaction and meeting participation. </li><li>Participate in fieldwork supporting construction management activities. </li></ul> <p>Requirements</p> <ul> <li>BS in Civil Engineering </li><li>EIT certification is preferred. </li><li>Good written and verbal communication skills </li><li>AutoCAD Civil 3D & ArcGIS knowledge a plus </li><li>Ability to read and understand municipal specifications and regulations </li><li>Ability to travel to job sites, meetings, and other offices as necessary </li></ul> <p>RETTEW is an equal opportunity employer.
