You will master the skills needed to:</p> <ul> <li>Deal assigned table games according to established procedures. </li><li>Engage players with energetic and enthusiastic customer service. </li><li>Maintain the integrity of the game and comply with all IL regulatory requirements. </li><li>Manage game pace, exchange cash for chips, and resolve player issues quickly. </li></ul> <p>We're Looking For:</p> <ul> <li>Individuals with basic math skills. </li><li>A passion for exceptional guest service (previous experience is a plus!) </li><li>The ability to attend the full 6-8 week school (5 days a week). </li><li>Must be 21 years of age or older </li><li>Able to work a flexible schedule upon completion, including all shifts, weekends, and holidays. </li></ul> <p>Duties and Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Perform the act of mechanically dealing a game in a proficient manner, according to current company policies and procedures and applicable gaming regulations. </li><li>Responsible for handling guest transactions and notifying Table Games Supervisor or Table Games Manager of any irregularities, disputes or arguments that may arise during the game among players/dealer. </li><li>Exchanges currency for gaming chips and pay or collect bets according to house rules in an accurate manner. </li><li>Supports and maintain Rivers Casino -- Des Plaines guest service standards at all times while promoting outstanding guest relations. </li><li>Provide the utmost in guest service. </li><li>Perform the duties and responsibilities associated with the Illinois Gaming Board Statewide Voluntary Self-Exclusion Program as described in Section A of the Rivers Casino -- Des Plaines ICS. </li><li>Complies with all gaming policies/procedures as established by the division and/or Des Plaines ICS. </li><li>Perform other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Job Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>1 - 2 years experience in particular multiple casino games required.
