<p>The Caldwell YMCA opened its doors on October 27, 2005. Since that time it has become a hallmark of the community, impacting the lives of thousands of kids and families. Facility amenities include a large cardio and weight floor, full-court basketball gym, three fitness studios, and a state-of-the-art aquatics center including a lap-pool, splash pad, pretzel slide, and lazy-river.</p> <p>The Tumbling Youth Enrichment Instructor is responsible for creating a friendly, helpful, positive atmosphere for members participating in group classes through supervision and by developing and managing high-quality youth programs.</p> <p>Come be a part of a NEW and EXCITING YOUTH PROGRAM here at the Caldwell YMCA!</p> <p>Schedule:</p> <p>This is a part time position averaging 3 hours weekly based on class schedule. Schedule requirements are Wednesday evening, 4:00pm-7:00pm. Pay Rate is $14.35/hr.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Plan and deliver tumbling lessons that teach tumbling maneuvers through demonstration and safe practices for students of different ages and skill levels. </li><li>Ensure thorough warm-ups prior to lesson plan and practices. </li><li>Create a positive and exciting classroom environment that encourages student participation and growth. </li><li>Maintain a clean, safe and organized studio space. </li><li>Stay current with trends and techniques to continually enhance your teaching skills. </li><li>Communicate effectively with the Youth Director. </li><li>Follow safety, CAP, and code procedures. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Proven experience as a Tumbling/Gymnastic Teacher or relevant role; 1 year minimum. </li><li>Excellent teaching and communication skills. </li><li>Ability to inspire and motivate students. </li><li>Patient, positive, and enthusiastic attitude. </li><li>Strong organizational and time-management skills. </li></ul> <p>Benefits:</p> <ul> <li>Employees will receive a FREE individual YMCA Membership. </li><li>Ability to utilize FREE childcare when teaching classes - up to 2 hours a day. </li></ul> <p>Welcoming and Inclusion:</p> <p>At the Y, we welcome everyone whose behavior adheres to our core values of caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility.
