<p>Our Kforce client located in the Lincoln, RI area is seeking a motivated Staff Accountant to support project accounting, payroll, and financial operations. This role works closely with the Controller (CPA) and offers strong mentorship and long-term growth. This position is scheduled as full time on-site.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Maintain job cost records and prepare reports for Project Managers and the Controller </li><li>Set up and update awarded/completed jobs </li><li>Prepare cost to complete reports and track accruals </li><li>Assist with labor rate updates and equipment cost tracking </li><li>Monitor equipment/office rentals </li><li>Support subcontract and vendor back charges and change orders </li><li>Produce Budget vs. Actual reports </li><li>Track high risk job items (schedules, escalations, etc.) </li><li>Assist with weekly payroll and timesheet accuracy </li><li>Support union and certified payroll reporting </li><li>Provide backup for Accounts Payable </li><li>Help with vendor reconciliations, W 2s, and 1099s </li><li>General administrative support as needed* Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance </li><li>0-3 years of accounting experience </li><li>Driven, detail-oriented, and eager to grow </li><li>Construction or project based accounting experience a plus, but not required </li></ul>
