<p>Job Description</p> <p>Job Title: NDT Inspector: X-Ray (2nd Shift)</p> <p>Location: East Granby, CT (Bradley Park)</p> <p>Pay Rate: $38 - $46/hr , plus 15% shift differential</p> <p>Job Type: Direct Placement/Full Time</p> <p>Zip Code: 06026</p> <p>Start Date: ASAP</p> <p>Schedule: Onsite - 2nd Shift</p> <p>NDT Inspector: X-Ray (2nd Shift)</p> <ul> <li>2nd Shift Mon-Fri 3:30PM - 12:00AM </li><li>15% Shift Differential Effective on 2nd Shift </li></ul> <p>Your Expertise (Required skills, certs, experience)</p> <ul> <li>Current Radiographic Testing (RT) Level II certification in accordance with NAS 410 or equivalent </li><li>Minimum 2-4 years of radiographic testing experience (or equivalent documented OJT hours per NAS 410) </li><li>Hands-on experience with film and/ or digital radiography (CR) </li><li>Basic knowledge of product manufacturing and inspection technology </li><li>Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and applicable codes/ standards </li><li>Working knowledge of radiation safety practices and regulations" </li></ul> <p>Your Challenge (Role & Responsibilities)</p> <ul> <li>Set-up and process parts, document results and perform equipment standardization in accordance with written instructions </li><li>Carry out any necessary preparation of parts before or after inspection </li><li>Conduct system performance checks in alignment with SOPs </li><li>Conduct tests, interpret, and evaluate for acceptance and rejection and document results </li><li>Provide guidance to trainees and Level 1 Personnel </li><li>Ability to communicate verbally, visually and in writing </li><li>Comfort working in a constantly changing environment; adaptability and flexibility are critical in this role </li><li>Strong problem-solving skills; ability to handle multiple tasks with tight deadlines </li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills </li><li>Ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as independently </li></ul> <p>Education Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma, GED or equivalent is required; an Associates is desirable </li><li>U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residency Required* </li></ul> <p>Belcan is a leading provider of qualified personnel to many of the world's most respected enterprises.
