<p>Piper Companies is looking for a Senior Network Specialist to join DoD consulting company. This position is onsite at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD for the HITS-R contract.</p> <p>Essential Duties of the Senior Network Specialist:</p> <ul> <li>Provides routine testing and analysis of network facilities </li><li>Install, configure, and support an organization's local area network (LAN), wide area network (WAN), and Internet systems or a segment of a network system. </li><li>Monitor network to ensure network availability to all system users and may perform necessary maintenance to support network availability. </li><li>Troubleshoot network systems and performance as necessary </li></ul> <p>Qualifications of the Senior Network Specialist:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelors degree and 4 years of experience, Associates degree and 6 years of experience, or 8 years of experience without a degree </li><li>Experience with Cisco networking equipment such as routers and switches. </li><li>Must be able to obtain and maintain an active Secret or Top Secret clearance. </li><li>Experience with IPv4 or IPv6 protocol is required along with level 3 network protocols </li></ul> <p>Compensation for the Senior Network Specialist:</p> <ul> <li>$100,000 - $140,000 (based on experience) </li><li>Comprehensive benefit package; Cigna Medical, Cigna Dental, Vision, 401k w/ ADP, PTO, Sick Leave as required by law, paid holidays </li></ul> <p>This job opens for applications on 4/25/2025.
