<p>Kforce has a client that is seeking an AP/AR Consultant in Johnston, RI.</p> <p>Key Tasks:</p> <ul> <li>Perform accounts payable and accounts receivable validation, ensuring transactions align with source documentation and internal controls </li><li>Review, reconcile, and validate financial data across systems (ERP, billing, invoicing, sales, or reporting tools) </li><li>Identify discrepancies, root causes, and data integrity issues; Document findings and recommend corrective actions </li><li>Support month-end and quarter-end close activities, including reconciliations and audit preparation </li><li>Validate uploads, migrations, or integrations of financial data between systems </li><li>Partner with internal stakeholders to clarify data requirements and resolve inconsistencies </li><li>Assist in documenting processes, controls, and validation rules </li><li>Provide ad hoc reporting and analysis to support finance leadership* 3+ years of experience in Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, accounting, or financial operations </li><li>Strong experience with data validation, reconciliation, and financial controls </li><li>Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas); Experience with large datasets required </li><li>Working knowledge of ERP or financial systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Workday Financials, or similar) </li><li>High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills </li><li>Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a consulting environment </li></ul>
