<p>The City of Wyoming Engineering Department is seeking a Part-Time Engineering Technician to join its team. The Engineering Technician is responsible for various phases of Right-of-way permit administration. Work is split between the office and outside in the field, with the average time evenly split between them, but variable depending on seasonal construction activities. Office duties would be centered around the Right-of-way work permitting process, including work plan review, Right-of-way and easement mapping, miss dig reviews, record drawing requests and tracking of permit processing. Field duties are centered around permit enforcement, including driving to various work sites and inspecting completed work to ensure compliance with specifications, responding to affected residents, and ensuring final restoration of work sites. This position is responsible for the preparation of detailed records, reports, and correspondence; works with a diverse group of external and internal contacts at different levels of the organization.</p> <p>Within its prescribed limits, work is performed with considerable independence without close supervision. Independent judgment is required to plan, prioritize, and organize a diverse workload.
