<p>At STERIS, we help our Customers create a healthier and safer world by providing innovative healthcare and life science product and service solutions around the globe.</p> <p>Position Summary</p> <p>As a Customer Data Specialist you are responsible for creating and maintaining accurate Customer master data globablly for Corporate and Instrument Management Service (IMS) Oracle allowing for</p> <ul> <li>Timely order entry, shipping, invoicing, and the eventual payment of these invoices; </li><li>An accurate picture of the Customer and its relationships </li><li>Effective credit, collection, and tax accounting </li><li>Coordination of customer freight information with third party vendors (IMS). </li><li>Identification of Customer party responsible for payment. </li><li>Compliance with the Global STERIS Master Data Management & Data Governance program. </li></ul> <p>You will also be an active contributor for the iterative enhancement and development of Data Goverance policies, procedures, working practices and training required to ensure compliance with Global Business Standards. In this role you will also support the global STERIS Customer master which may span multiple Enterprise Systems and Global Operating Units.</p> <p>This is a hybrid role with the requirement of working onsite at our Mentor, OH Corporate HQ, 2 days per week.</p> <p>What You'll do as a Customer Data Specialist</p> <ul> <li>Validate Customer name, address, tax and ownership performed through a blend of 3rd Party Enrichment data (E.G. Loqate, etc) and ad-hoc internet research. </li><li>Maintain team email inbox, helpdesk (IMS) and Customer Request Form queue. </li><li>Establish new Customer accounts, Customer sites, relationships, profile class, tax rules, red text (IMS), banking information, sales rep assignments (IMS), freight terms, FOB, collector and pricelists within Oracle EBS & Cloud Environments. </li><li>Modify/maintain all records on Customer accounts including but not limited to: </li><li>Name changes and ownership changes </li><li>Address format changes </li><li>Address additions and inactivations </li><li>Relationships </li><li>Sales rep assignments </li><li>Work cross functionally with Customer Care, Sales, Logistics, Credit & Collections and Pricing teams to solve Customer data issues. </li><li>Troubleshoot errors received in Oracle Order Management or Siebel related to the STERIS Customer Master. </li><li>Identify Customer accounts and/or Customer hierarchies to be cleansed; execute cleansing proactively. </li><li>Utilize various reporting tools including the portal (IMS) and COGNOS to review accuracy of Customer data. </li><li>Investigate returned mail and update Customer database accordingly. </li><li>Assist with Party, Customer, and Account Merge process. </li><li>Support acquisition integrations which may include Customer matching, creation and maintenance. </li><li>Perform additional maintenance and projects as required. </li></ul> <p>The Experience, Skills and Abilities Needed</p> <p>Required:</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or GED </li><li>Minimum 2 years Customer service or office experience </li><li>Demonstrated organizational skills and the ability to work independently </li><li>Demonstrated track record in providing exceptional Customer service </li></ul> <p>Other:</p> <ul> <li>Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks </li><li>Detail-oriented, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines </li><li>Ability to work both independently and in a team environment </li><li>Strong organizational capabilities </li><li>Attention to detail </li><li>Strong Customer focus (both internal and external) </li><li>Strong initiative </li><li>Critical thinking and problem solving skills </li><li>Communication skills; verbal skills, written skills, active listening skills </li></ul> <p>What STERIS Offers</p> <p>We value our employees and are committed to providing a comprehensive benefits package that supports your health, well-being, and financial future.</p> <p>Here is just a brief overview of what we offer:</p> <ul> <li>Market Competitive Pay </li><li>Extensive Paid Time Off and (9) added Holidays </li><li>Excellent Healthcare, Dental, and Vision benefits </li><li>Long/Short Term Disability Coverage </li><li>401(k) with a company match </li><li>Maternity & Parental Leave </li><li>Additional add-on benefits/discounts for programs such as Pet Insurance </li><li>Tuition Reimbursement and continued education programs </li><li>Excellent opportunities for advancement in a stable long-term career </li></ul> <p>#LI-MM1</p> <p>Pay range for this opportunity is $44,000 - $50,000. This position is eligible for bonus participation.</p> <p>Minimum pay rates offered will comply with county/city minimums, if higher than range listed.
