<p>Graduate Assistant - Assistant Softball Coach</p> <p>Position Overview</p> <p>Mayville State University is seeking a motivated and dedicated Graduate Assistant to serve as an Assistant Softball Coach. This 10-month position provides hands-on coaching experience while supporting the academic and athletic mission of the university. The successful candidate will assist the head coach in all aspects of the softball program and contribute to a positive, competitive, and student-centered team environment.</p> <p>Primary Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Assist the head coach in all aspects of the softball program </li><li>Recruit qualified student-athletes in all aspects of the game </li><li>Assist with daily coaching, practice planning, and player development </li><li>Support home game operations, including set-up and take-down </li><li>Assist with field maintenance and facility upkeep </li><li>Build strong, positive relationships with student-athletes to enhance their collegiate experience </li><li>Uphold and promote the academic and athletic mission of Mayville State University </li><li>Perform other job-related duties as assigned </li></ul> <p>Minimum Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>College softball or baseball experience </li><li>Strong commitment to student-athlete development, academic success, and program integrity </li><li>Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills </li></ul> <p>Compensation</p> <ul> <li>$7,000 for the 10-month appointment (August 1 - May 31) </li><li>Opportunity for professional development and hands-on collegiate coaching experience </li></ul>
