Freedom for the soul. Are you ready to join us?</p> <p>The Harley-Davidson Motor Company Vehicle Operations facility in York is our final assembly plant. Employees at York also perform a variety of manufacturing operations, including fabrication, welding, polishing and painting and produce a wide range of current and replacement parts for all models. Join our team as a Production Technician 1.</p> <p>The start date for new hires is expected to be in mid-October 2025 and beyond. Due to this, candidates may experience a longer wait time until they hear from Harley-Davidson.</p> <p>The Production Technician 1 works in a variety of roles, such as material handling, assemblers, and equipment loading/unloading.</p> <ul> <li>Assembly - Assemble a vehicle in part of a zone or in a sub-assembly area. Assemble and pack vehicles in multiple stations within a work area or a sub assembly area. </li><li>Paint - Operate automated paint systems, stripe robots, waterslide application, masking, and other related functions. </li><li>Fabrication - Assist in the set-up of presses, lasers and other equipment. Operate multiple machines in a manufacturing center, cell, work cell(s), or flow line(s) using a variety of presses and lasers. </li><li>Materials - Must have cross-functional knowledge of material flow techniques and be willing to perform in a team-oriented, customer-focused organization. Must be able to adapt to a variety of duties on a rotational basis in a quick changing, fast paced environment. Must be able to obtain PIV certification. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Must have one year work experience or High School Diploma or GED.
