Taher, Inc. maintains a consistent presence in Food Service Management's Top 25 companies.</p> <p>We are adding an energetic, knowledgeable Assistant Food Service Director to work in a K-12 school lunch program. You will be responsible fo assisting with client and community relationships, budgets, and P&L. Your culinary knowledge to oversee kitchen production will be impressive, as well as your meal production skills.</p> <p>As our dedicated A Player, you must be highly motivated, community/service minded, and detailed oriented with strong analytical skills. With your integrity and strong work ethic, you will serve as a positive role model.</p> <p>As our Assistant Food Service Director, you will with with the Food Serice director to be engaged in daily "hands-on" management and training of the kitchen staff. Due to your exemplary customer service skills, you will enjoy developing and growing client and customer relationships</p> <p>Additional responsibilities include:</p> <ul> <li>Developing menus to fit the needs of the community </li><li>Implementing and maintaining HACCP standards </li><li>Providing outstanding catering events </li><li>Communicating clearly, professionally and effectively </li><li>Delivering budgeted financial results </li><li>Creating a positive team environment </li><li>Managing ordering and inventory </li><li>Leading daily production </li><li>Overseeing cash management </li><li>Engaging in regular client interaction </li></ul> <p>You must have 3 years of previous experience in a similar position with an associate degree in hospitality/dietetics. In our fast paced environment, you will need to possess strong multi-tasking, kitchen/office organizational skills, as well as effective communication (oral and written) skills.
