<p>EPM Cloud Lead Engineer</p> <p>Job Description</p> <p>This role leads the design, architecture, and delivery of complex, secure, and scalable Oracle EPM Cloud solutions that support critical financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes. You will partner closely with finance and technology teams to streamline and standardize business processes, migrate legacy Hyperion environments to the cloud, and ensure that EPM solutions are robust, high-performing, and aligned with strategic business objectives. This is a SR., hands-on position that combines deep technical expertise with strong stakeholder engagement and leadership.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Design and architect complex, secure, and scalable Oracle EPM Cloud solutions that address intricate financial and business challenges while aligning with overall business objectives. </li><li>Ensure architectural consistency, coherence, and adherence to best practices across all EPM Cloud solutions, with a strong focus on performance, reliability, and security. </li><li>Conduct deep dives into broader financial domains to fully understand business complexities, technological needs, and how they relate to the EPM Cloud environment. </li><li>Develop and deliver impactful presentations, workshops, and proofs of concept that clearly demonstrate the strategic and financial benefits of proposed EPM solutions to stakeholders. </li><li>Streamline and simplify business processes using Oracle Financials and related EPM Cloud modules, standardizing processes where possible by reusing objects or adopting global designs. </li><li>Lead map-gap discussions with business users, documenting solution alternatives and providing clear recommendations that minimize customizations and support long-term sustainability. </li><li>Collaborate effectively with business stakeholders, partner resources, and cross-functional global teams to influence, guide, and drive consensus on critical business and technology decisions. </li><li>Lead the delivery of end-to-end EPBCS solutions, including planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting capabilities. </li><li>Design and implement financial models, reports, and dashboards based on detailed business requirements. </li><li>Configure and enhance EPBCS modules, including Workforce Planning, Capital Asset Planning, Financials, and Projects, to meet evolving business needs. </li><li>Optimize EPM application performance to ensure scalability, robustness, and a high-quality user experience. </li><li>Conduct workshops to gather requirements and provide strategic advice on how to best leverage Oracle EPM capabilities. </li><li>Develop comprehensive functional and technical specifications, test plans, and test scripts to support high-quality solution delivery. </li><li>Collaborate closely with finance and IT/DT teams to ensure EPM solutions remain aligned with business goals and technology standards. </li><li>Manage EPM application security and user provisioning, including integration with IDCS and LDAP. </li><li>Oversee data integration and automation processes to ensure accurate, timely, and efficient data flows into EPM applications. </li><li>Provide leadership, guidance, and knowledge sharing to project teams and stakeholders, promoting best practices in Oracle EPM Cloud. </li></ul> <p>Essential Skills</p> <ul> <li>12+ years of experience with Oracle EPM solutions, including EPBCS/PBCS, Hyperion Planning, Essbase, ARCS, and FCCS. </li><li>Proficiency in Oracle EPM Cloud solutions and related financial planning and reporting processes. </li><li>Strong expertise in Groovy scripting for advanced business rules and automation within EPM applications. </li><li>Hands-on experience with REST API integration to connect EPM Cloud with other enterprise systems. </li><li>Proficiency with EPM-Automate for automation, administration, and operational tasks. </li><li>Expertise in data integration and automation using Data Management, EPM Agent, and ETL solutions. </li><li>Proven experience migrating on-premises Hyperion solutions to Oracle Cloud, including PBCS/EPBCS, ARCS, and FCCS. </li><li>In-depth knowledge of Oracle EPM Cloud infrastructure and security concepts. </li><li>Demonstrated ability to interact effectively with both business and technical stakeholders, translating requirements into robust EPM solutions. </li><li>Experience leading the delivery of end-to-end EPBCS solutions covering test scripts. </li><li>Experience managing EPM application security, user provisioning, and integration with IDCS/LDAP. </li><li>Excellent communication and leadership skills to work effectively with finance and IT teams. </li><li>Bachelor's degree with at least 12 years of relevant experience, or a master's degree with at least 10 years of relevant experience. </li></ul> <p>Additional Skills & Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Broad experience with Oracle technologies and the wider Oracle EPM ecosystem. </li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex financial and technical challenges. </li><li>Ability to standardize and globalize designs by reusing objects and patterns across EPM applications. </li><li>Experience working with cross-functional and global teams in a collaborative environment. </li><li>Comfort presenting complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and compelling way. </li><li>Proactive mindset focused on continuous improvement, process optimization, and best practices in EPM. </li><li>Proven ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on technical execution. </li></ul> <p>Work Environment</p> <p>You will work in a You will work extensively with Oracle EPM Cloud technologies, including EPBCS/PBCS, Hyperion Planning, Essbase, ARCS, FCCS, Data Management, EPM Agent, ETL tools, Groovy scripting, REST APIs, and EPM-Automate.
