<p>Kforce has a client that is seeking an Infrastructure Deployment Engineer - OCI & VM in Maryland Heights, MO.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Infrastructure Deployment Engineer will perform customer cloud deployments by rebuilding and provisioning VMs and Oracle databases in OCI </li><li>Execute Ansible playbooks and automation pipelines to ensure consistent, secure configurations </li><li>Use the OCI portal for infrastructure build and environment setup </li><li>Test and validate new VM/database images prior to deployment </li><li>Coordinate with the hardware engineering and storage teams for physical server installation and cabling tasks (when needed) </li><li>Support various vendor hardware configurations and assist with installation procedures </li><li>Provide general support and troubleshooting during the pre-deployment stage </li><li>Participate in Exadata support only as needed (not expected to be a SME) </li><li>Handoff complete environments to operations and application teams post-deployment - you are not responsible for monitoring or managing live systems* 5+ years of experience in infrastructure deployment or cloud provisioning </li><li>Hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) </li><li>Strong working knowledge of Linux systems and basic understanding of Oracle database components </li><li>Proficiency in Ansible automation, including executing and troubleshooting playbooks </li><li>Familiarity with secure deployment practices and infrastructure readiness workflows </li></ul> <p>Nice-to-Have Skills:</p> <ul> <li>Experience with hardware installations and cable routing in data center environments </li><li>Exposure to multi-vendor server hardware and configuration processes </li><li>General understanding of Exadata platforms </li><li>Experience supporting pre-production environments for cloud customer delivery </li></ul>
