<p>The Service Technician will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of component cable, category cable, fiber, wireless access points, cameras, access control devices, and other low voltage cabling and devices with or without direct onsite supervision.</p> <p>This position will be located at A3 Communications in Nashville, TN.</p> <p>Essential Functions</p> <ul> <li>Install, Service and Maintain of various access control devices and electrified door hardware </li><li>Install, Service and Maintain various cameras </li><li>Install, Service and Maintain cable pathway systems to support security and network systems </li><li>Maintain company-owned equipment </li><li>Work in a team environment with other service team members </li><li>Observe all safety rules and best practices </li><li>Perform other duties, as required </li><li>Shall demonstrate a willingness to learn and work well within a team environment </li></ul> <p>Minimum Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Minimum must have at least 1 year of experience in low voltage electronic security field </li><li>Experience in configuring access control and surveillance systems </li><li>High school diploma or equivalent </li><li>Hold a valid driver's license </li><li>Be at least 21 years old to operate company vehicles </li><li>Successfully pass a background check and drug screen </li></ul> <p>Knowledge, Skills and Abilities</p> <ul> <li>Ability to read and use a measuring tape, level and other required tools for installation required </li><li>Excellent interpersonal skills, including external and internal communication (written and verbal)skills </li><li>Demonstrate a desire to learn the industry that C&B serves </li><li>Willing and able to work a flexible schedule when required to meet our customer's needs (nights, weekends, over-night, etc.) </li><li>Comfortable with heights, such as working a ladder and/or aerial man-lift </li><li>Present oneself in a professional and neat manner </li><li>Solid organization, attention to detail and multi-tasking skills </li><li>Excellent written and verbal skill required with the ability to communicate and understand detailed instructions </li></ul>
