<p>POSITION SUMMARY:</p> <p>Under the general supervision of the Ultrasound Manager, the Ultrasound Technologist provides skill and initiative to the department mission through interactions with staff, Supervisor and others as necessary. Primary duties are to work as a Technologist generating diagnostic images for physicians, while also implementing policy and procedures as determined necessary through Manager and Supervisor.</p> <p>Position: Ultrasound Tech, Radiology</p> <p>Department: Ultrasound Radiology</p> <p>Schedule: Full Time, 40 hrs Full-time, flexible, rotating schedule, SEIU</p> <p>JOB REQUIREMENTS</p> <p>EDUCATION:</p> <ul> <li>Associate's degree (or equivalent from two-year college) or certificate program in Ultrasound Technology </li></ul> <p>CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS REQUIRED:</p> <ul> <li>RDMS required. </li></ul> <p>EXPERIENCE:</p> <ul> <li>Experience in related clinical area is preferred. </li></ul> <p>KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:</p> <ul> <li>Work requires knowledge of principles and procedures of Ultrasound and the operation and maintenance of Radiologic and/or Ultrasound equipment. </li><li>Work requires excellent interpersonal and communication skills sufficient to interact effectively with patients and all/any apprehensions, to instruct students and to provide technical supervision to staff technologists. </li></ul> <p>Compensation Range:</p> <p>$48.90- $62.03</p> <p>This range offers an estimate based on the minimum job qualifications. However, our approach to determining base pay is comprehensive, and a broad range of factors is considered when making an offer. This includes education, experience, and licensure/certifications directly related to position requirements.
