<p>Shrewsbury Public Schools Posted: May 1, 2026 Closed: May 12, 2026 Employment Opportunity: Oak Middle School POSITION: ESL/ELE Teacher 2026-2027 School Year Shrewsbury Public Schools is currently accepting applications for a full-time English as a Second Language/English Language Education Teacher at Oak Middle School, beginning with the 2026-2027 school year. We seek culturally responsive and sustaining candidates who lead with an asset-based mindset and are dedicated to ensuring multilingual learners have the agency and systemic support to flourish both in and out of the classroom. Qualified candidates with diverse racial, ethnic, cultural, religious, class, and/or gender background and experiences are strongly encouraged to apply. Preferred: •Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education license as an English as a Second Language Teacher, 5-12 •Understands the needs and behaviors of middle school multilingual learners with diverse backgrounds and experiences •Experienced translating the 2020 WIDA Standards into actionable learning targets for multilingual learners. •Exhibits the core values of Shrewsbury Public Schools •Works flexibly in a changing environment Application Process: Interested candidates should submit a cover letter, resume, official or unofficial copies of undergraduate/graduate transcripts, license # or unofficial copy of license if applicable, and three current professional letters of reference, including one from a direct supervisor or evaluator.
