This enables us to effectively serve the needs of our members and help them succeed.</p> <p>This position partners with members of the Funding Products Group team to develop and implement strategic, tailored solutions for the Bank's most sophisticated depository and insurance company members to drive product understanding and utilization. This role will help address the specific needs of these members, focusing on driving growth, providing strategic guidance, building strong relationships, and offering deep financial expertise to help meet their business objectives.</p> <p>Accountabilities:</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Use a deep understanding of Capital Markets, , Liquidity Management, Debt Issuance, Investments (including Commercial Mortgage-Backed Securities, Mortgage Structured Products and Municipals), and derivative hedging, to create advance strategies for sophisticated members. </li><li>Analyze balance sheets of members as well as capital markets conditions to identify and recommend appropriate Bank solutions. </li><li>Build and maintain strong relationships with Key account members, understand their business objectives and provide tailored recommendations using Bank products to help meet their funding and/or risk management needs. </li><li>Support the Bank's sales efforts by creating and participating in various member education initiatives, identifying new market/product segments, assessing market opportunities the Bank's competitive position versus other FHLBs and market competition. </li><li>Communicate complex strategies clearly and directly to senior management at member institutions or in collaboration with the member's relationship manager. </li><li>Monitor competitive landscape in the wholesale funding, debt securities and whole-loan markets to identify and recommend potential opportunities for the use of Bank products for institutional members. </li><li>Plan, develop and contribute to strategic content including presentations, product tutorials, strategy articles and case studies through written, in-person, digital, and video communications. </li><li>Possess a strong understanding of the Bank's products and solutions to provide guidance to internal and external stakeholders. </li><li>Consult with regional relationship managers on topics requiring deep technical knowledge related to financial market and finance theory for large Bank and insurance company members product solutions. </li><li>Help develop and implement new or modified funding products and services by assessing member needs and advocating for enhancements on behalf of members. </li><li>Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. </li><li>Lead a high-performance team. </li></ul> <p>Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Four-year degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics; Master's degree and CFA professional certification preferred. </li><li>10+ years experience in banking treasury/financial management, insurance company, or financial sales/consulting. </li><li>Deep technical knowledge of the financial markets, derivatives, financial theory, fixed income securities, especially mortgages and mortgage-backed securities. </li><li>Familiarity with off-balance sheet instruments, asset liability management strategies and interest rate risk management techniques required. </li><li>Understanding of regulatory constraints and factors that drive bank and insurance company balance sheet profitability and risk management required. </li><li>Insurance experience and familiarity with complex financial organizations is required. </li><li>Capacity to engage members and business partners from all varieties of organizations including very small financial institutions to the nation's largest banks. </li><li>Strong communication, analytical and interpersonal skills with influence and ability to build trust and long-term relationships. </li><li>Effective and persuasive speaking skills to present complex topics to a variety of audiences in formal, professional environments as well as impromptu conversations. </li><li>Demonstrated ability to foster a work environment that values, welcomes, respects and includes a variety of people and experiences. </li><li>CRM tool, Excel, PowerBI, Bloomberg, SQL, or other programming experience. </li></ul> <p>Compensation Range:</p> <p>Annual Salary: $197,787.65 - $234,872.83</p> <p>This salary range represents the Bank's good faith and reasonable estimate of possible compensation at the time of hire. Offer to be determined by selected applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills & abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. This role is also eligible to participate in the Bank's annual incentive plan.</p> <p>As part of our competitive Total Rewards package, the Bank offers 11 paid holidays, 5 weeks of PTO and a work culture that values work/life balance. Most roles are eligible for our hybrid work schedule. We match 100% of the first 6% you contribute to your 401(k) and provide an additional 4% non-discretionary contribution to your 401(k) at the end of year.
