Willing to listen with an open mind? </li><li>A problem solver who can work through sticking points and difficult conversations, holding yourself and team members to the highest standards of accountability? </li><li>Able to find opportunity in challenges, no matter how difficult, finding creative solutions? </li><li>Able to model sustainable practices to ensure an environmental conscious and productive culture (Ex: Recycle, reduce waste, optimize resources, and improve processes)? </li><li>Going to take ownership of your time with the department and strive for excellence? </li></ul> <p>THEN WE WANT YOU TO JOIN OUR TEAM!</p> <p>Your Role</p> <p>The Parks and Recreation Lead Aide duties will include, but not be limited to:</p> <p>Assist with data entry to include maintain statistics for monthly/annual reports, types memos, operate office equipment such as computer, scanner, fax, copy machine, and adding machine as required.</p> <p>Providing customer service and enforce rules and regulations</p> <p>Assist with collection of user fees/money, keeping and balancing records/reports</p> <p>Serve as site supervisor in absence of full-time staff</p> <p>Perform housekeeping/custodial duties including cleaning and maintaining all parts of the public restrooms and empty large park trash cans</p> <p>Make park/facility/program decisions based on inclement weather about program delays, closures or cancellations in the absence of full-time staff</p> <p>Assist customers with boat launches and/or manage special event participation</p> <p>Provide routing maintenance and construction of park areas, amenities and equipment</p> <p>Collecting user fees/money, keeping and balancing records/reports</p> <p>Individual will work in an outdoor environment in various weather conditions</p> <p>Report incidents/accident and discrepancies</p> <p>Open and close facilities</p> <p>Perform other job duties requiring skills, knowledge and physical requirements as demanded by those duties described or less.
