Obtain a thorough knowledge of the position and its requirements in the manufacturing, packaging, and storage of AB Mauri products.</p> <p>Key Result Areas:</p> <p>Performance Standards:</p> <p>Core Values</p> <ul> <li>Continuously exhibit and set the example for others in display of Company values: Customer Centric, Ambitious, Proactive, Innovative, Collaborative and Accountable. </li></ul> <p>Production</p> <ul> <li>Following all food safety and operating procedures that are outlined by the company's standards including start-up, changeovers, shutdown, and safe operation of machinery. </li><li>Ensure critical control points are checked on all required equipment and report findings. </li><li>Accurately record required information on to production/ quality documentation. </li><li>Report any mechanical malfunctions to management. </li><li>Ensure that finished product is properly labeled and is marked with an accurate and legible lot code. </li><li>Operate forklifts safely. </li></ul> <p>Sanitation</p> <ul> <li>Ensure scheduled sanitation of production area is being conducted including daily, weekly, monthly, and annually. </li><li>Maintain a clean work area within the department per sanitation standards. </li><li>Accurately record required information on to appropriate documentation. </li></ul> <p>Safety</p> <ul> <li>Safety is mandatory and priority for personal safety and the safety of others. </li><li>Complete all forms, checklists and documentation required by company policies and procedures. </li><li>Willingness to endorse and maintain a safe culture at all times. </li><li>Wear appropriate PPE in designated work areas. </li></ul> <p>Maintenance</p> <ul> <li>Keep equipment in a clean and neat condition. </li><li>Perform autonomous maintenance on machinery as needed (based on AM status for site). </li></ul> <p>Quality</p> <ul> <li>Produce quality products in a manner that meets production targets and complies with the company's food safety, quality standards and safety guidelines. </li></ul> <p>Human Resources</p> <ul> <li>Comply with all Local & Corporate HR policies and procedures. </li></ul> <p>Other</p> <ul> <li>Contribute to continuous improvement culture </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>A COMBINATION OF THE LISTED SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE IS PREFERRED</p> <ul> <li>High School diploma or equivalent is required. </li><li>Six months to a one-year related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination or education and experience. </li><li>Basic Mathematical skills including addition, subtraction, fractions, and percentages. </li><li>Written and oral English Communication </li><li>Knowledge and ability to be certified with on stand-up/sit-down forklift, and scissor lift. </li><li>Previous knowledge of SQF, GMP's, HACCP, AIB/ASI standards. </li><li>Biochemical process and/or Food manufacturing experience. </li><li>Excellent oral and written communication skills. </li><li>Basic PC skills in Word, Excel. </li></ul> <p>Other Factors</p> <p>Ability to work 40 hours per week or scheduled hours, able to work overtime (Saturdays or Sundays) as needed.</p> <p>Other duties as assigned.</p> <p>Working Conditions</p> <p>While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; sit; hear; use hands or fingers to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; and reach with hands and arms.
