<p>Title: Payroll Supervisor: Central Administration #00290</p> <p>State Role Title: Financial Services Spec II</p> <p>Hiring Range: $61,382 - $100,667</p> <p>Pay Band: 5</p> <p>Agency: Dept of Corr - Central Admin</p> <p>Location: DOC Headquarters</p> <p>Agency Website: www.vadoc.virginia.gov</p> <p>Recruitment Type: General Public - G</p> <p>Job Duties</p> <p>To provide payroll processing and reconciliation of earnings and fringe benefits for all Department of Corrections' agencies (31) to ensure that all 11,000+ employees are paid timely and accurately in compliance with existing DOC, State and Federal guidelines and laws.</p> <p>To train and supervise employees and to perform the processing and reconciliation</p> <p>responsibilities associated with the administration of the payroll and benefit accounting functions for assigned agencies while maintaining a strong level of customer service and professionalism in all interactions with DOC agencies, outside support agencies, and coworkers.</p> <p>Minimum Qualifications</p> <p>High School Diploma or equivalent. Demonstrated skill in the use of Microsoft Office Programs. Current extensive experience with payroll processing/or with payroll and benefits.</p> <p>Current payroll supervisory or office manager experience in an office environment. Demonstrated ability to analyze payroll transactions for compliance with payroll procedures and regulations. Proficiency in keyboarding; pc applications to include MS Office.</p> <p>Additional Considerations</p> <p>Extensive payroll processing experience and/or experience with payroll and benefits.
