<p>JOB SUMMARY:</p> <p>The Insurance Associate is a competent sales producer reporting to the Company President. This position follows a strict sales process and completes a detailed training program to become proficient on all insurance products. The Insurance Associate shadows Insurance Advisors and the Company President as part of the training program. The Insurance Associate uses resources and leads to begin selling conversations, assess client needs, quotes insurance through various carriers, and sell policies. This position ensures that follow up processes are in place. The Insurance Associate provides excellent service to team members and customers while demonstrating the Company values and supporting the mission.</p> <p>JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:</p> <ul> <li>Follow a strict sales process and complete a detailed training program to become proficient on all insurance products </li><li>Sell new leads by determining the best protection plan for clients </li><li>Adhere to company Critical Success Factors and sales targets </li><li>Respond to client policy inquiries, information requests, and coverage change requests </li><li>Process claims; gather information, reports, and other related facts </li><li>Contact clients at time of renewal. Evaluate policies and find opportunities to increase protection and add policies as needed. </li><li>Responsible for client relationship management. Build relationships to earn client referrals. </li><li>Perform other duties as assigned </li></ul> <p>REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or equivalent </li><li>Obtain Property and Casualty Insurance Producer license within 3 months </li><li>Possess a genuine willingness to learn, be intuitive and resourceful and be coachable </li><li>Be capable of handling customer rejection </li><li>Experience using CRM </li><li>Familiar with Microsoft Office applications </li><li>Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously while accomplishing daily tasks </li><li>Effective oral and written communication skills and excellent interpersonal skills </li><li>Attention to detail, critical thinker with exceptional problem-solving skills </li><li>High standards for integrity, honesty, professionalism, and work ethic </li><li>Commitment to service excellence </li><li>Ability to work independently while demonstrating excellent organization and follow through </li><li>Demonstrate flexible and efficient time management and ability to prioritize workload </li><li>Ability and willingness to move with purpose and a strong sense of urgency </li><li>Self-motivated, positive, and enthusiastic </li><li>Self-starter with a strong desire to exceed expectations and capable of supporting a team </li><li>Maintain confidentiality discretion </li><li>Ability to effectively work in collaboration with others to achieve business objectives </li><li>Willing to grow and be challenged </li><li>Attend training as requested </li></ul>
