<p>Job Title: Laboratory Technician</p> <p>Job Description</p> <p>We are seeking a dedicated Laboratory Technician to support general laboratory operations and routine tasks that facilitate our cutting-edge scientific research. The role involves working on plant transformation and tissue culture within a research dicot lab. This is a hands-on position that requires maintaining high accuracy, attention to detail, and efficient work habits.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Conduct plant transformation and tissue culture to support research activities. </li><li>Perform laboratory tasks according to established methods and training. </li><li>Utilize light and fluorescent microscopy to conduct experiments. </li><li>Apply aseptic techniques and scientific principles effectively. </li><li>Maintain organized records of work, project data, and other pertinent information. </li><li>Work independently and collaboratively to troubleshoot and solve problems. </li></ul> <p>Additional Skills & Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's or Associate Degree in Biology, Microbiology, or a related field. </li><li>Experience in plant tissue culture and transformation methods in an industry setting. </li><li>Proven ability to work both independently and as part of a team. </li></ul> <p>Work Environment</p> <p>This role is based in a laboratory setting and requires hands-on work. The position operates on a first shift schedule, Monday through Friday, with hours starting around 7:30 to 8:00 AM.
