The Clerical Assistant assists with general operations of the homecare office, as assigned by the Office Manager.</p> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma. </li><li>Additional business and computer courses desirable. </li><li>Experience in computer data entry, accounting, related field, or general office work desirable </li></ul> <p>Position Highlights:</p> <p>According to HomeCare policies and procedures and under the direction of the Office Manager;</p> <ul> <li>Operates telephone/switchboard as assigned * Makes photocopies and FAXes information as indicated </li><li>Processes incoming/outgoing mail and messages * Maintains Call Book </li><li>Assists in taking Job Applications * Delivers orders, etc. to physician's offices as requested </li><li>Prepares assessment packets * Processes and tracks physician orders </li><li>Maintains inventory of office supplies/forms * Assists with billing activities as needed </li><li>Maintains inventory control of medical supplies * Performs miscellaneous typing, data entry, filing, copying </li><li>Maintains medical records * Completes data entry of patient/other information </li></ul> <p>Why NHC?</p> <p>We offer a culture of recognition, empowerment, and fun.
