Analyze and document a variety of microscopic, bacteriologic, immunohematologic and/or chemical diagnostic laboratory tests. Conduct advanced tests and lab utilization activities. May perform the duties of a Medical Laboratory Technician and a Laboratory Technologist in addition to the expectations as an MLS/MT. Accountable for all tasks and responsibilities as designated by the CLIA rule and/or delegations made as a result (laboratory documentation delineates this specific information). Fulfill the expectation for the completion of all responsibilities as determined by the applicable CLIA role. # REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor#s or foreign equivalent degree in Medical Technology, Medical Laboratory Science, Biology, Chemistry, Microbiology, or a related field. Also requires MLS or MT (ASCP or NCA) or equivalent certification or the ability to obtain such certification within 1 year of hire.
