<p>The Nursing Assistant at Atrium Health Navicent assists in providing patient care under the direct supervision of the Registered Nurse. Assists in maintaining a clean, and safe patient environment and performs job responsibilities in a safe manner. Maintains clinical and professional competencies as appropriate to the needs of the patient population served.</p> <p>Job details:</p> <p>Locations: Specialty Med/Surg Tela areas and ICU</p> <p>Full time: 3-12 hours shifts - 36 hours per week</p> <p>Current openings: Days and Nights</p> <ul> <li>Day shift: 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM </li><li>Night shift: 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM </li></ul> <p>Scheduling: Flexible self-scheduling (with adjustments made by the Nurse Director or Manager as necessary for staffing. CNA certification or patient care experience is preferred.</p> <p>Essential Functions:</p> <p>Supports patient with activities of daily living</p> <p>Vital Signs, and height/weight measurement</p> <p>Performs glucose monitoring via fingerstick</p> <p>Transportation of patients on wheelchair, stretcher, bed, etc., including to other units as needed</p> <p>Placement of electrodes for cardiac, respiratory and/or fetal monitoring</p> <p>Post-mortem care</p> <p>Maintains room in a clean and orderly condition</p> <p>Instructs patient/families on proper safety measures</p> <p>Assist with clerical work if needed</p> <p>Maintains stock supply in the room</p>
