<p>We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Fleet Manager to lead daily driver and service operations across designated terminal locations. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, excel at multitasking, and have a passion for logistics and team leadership, we invite you to bring your expertise to our growing organization.</p> <p>Only shift available: Rotating 4 days on, 4 days off. 7p-7a.</p> <p>Essential Duties and Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Oversee and manage all, day-to-day driver and service-related activities and functions for assigned geographical /terminal driver locations including but not limited to, daily planning, and dispatch and dispatch of customer orders, ensuring that all orders are dispatched and requested delivery windows are met </li><li>Manager the day-to-day issues, regarding service, equipment management (in conjunction with Region Manager), driver-related issues, and service deviations </li><li>Works with Central Planning Operations Manager/Senior Fleet Manager to analyze and provide solutions for chronic problems within operation, including performance to customer expectations, efficiency concerns, and driver performance </li><li>Able to navigate Solar's TMW dispatching software as well as multiple screens to utilize Email, customer websites, and dispatching software </li><li>Ability to work a 12-hour shift including weekends </li><li>Additional responsibilities as assigned </li><li>Adheres to all company policies and procedures </li></ul> <p>Qualifications: Education</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred </li></ul> <p>Qualifications: Experience</p> <ul> <li>1+ yrs. experience in a Fleet Manager position at a logistics company preferred </li><li>Experience in the transportation industry preferred </li><li>Previous managerial experience preferred </li><li></li></ul> <p>Qualifications: Competencies</p> <ul> <li>Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, including strong listening skills </li><li>Practice operating independently without the need for continuous oversight or direction </li><li>Proven ability to effectively prioritize and balance competing needs </li><li>A history of taking the initiative to identify and solve work-related problems </li><li>Experience in exercising initiative and sound judgment in decision-making </li></ul> <p>Duties and responsibilities, as required by business necessity may be added, deleted, or changed at any time at the discretion of management, formally or informally, either verbally or in writing.
